Our long-term clients tell us that they like the fact that we have been around for a long time (60+ years) and, although we adopt a multi-disciplinary approach, we have maintained a specialist “hands-on” expertise in the energy sector.
When we created c:sense we were able to use personnel who had decades of experience in auditing, verification and certification, were used to meeting the needs of UKAS accreditation and operating to other prescribed standards. At the same time we wanted our c:sense team to maintain a strong grip on the “real” world. The “c” in c:sense also stands for “common” - a big dollop of common sense goes a long way.
At c:sense we see our role as being more than that of a verification company. We see no conflict of interest issues in wanting to work together with our clients to ensure that we fully understand their business and how their energy processes create the carbon emissions that we are called upon to verify. We provide impartial, technically sound advice on how best to reduce greenhouse gas emissions which, although easy to overlook in the legislative process, is of course the object of the exercise. The fact that this also saves your company money is no bad thing either as we want you to be in business for years to come so we can continue to work with you.
