The reduction of greenhouse gas emissions is becoming so entrenched in almost every aspect of our personal and working lives that the boundaries between environmental and economic risks have become blurred if not removed altogether.
Whereas our engineers might have considered their testing of combustion devices to have been a clear technical role in the past, the results of these tests can now have important financial consequences if a new appliance does not give the energy efficiency performance needed to make it competitive in our increasingly low carbon world.
We have called this section “Corporate Services” in order to reflect that our independent technical services might now also be sought by financial and marketing departments seeking to minimise corporate risks by underpinning their green credentials.
The key word in all of these services is “independent” and please be assured that in order to maintain our claim to it, we will “tell it as we see it” – no matter what.
