GASTEC at CRE (GaC)
Our core business area is in heating and cooking appliances (whatever the primary fuel - gas, oil or solid fuels), however any related products can also be tested and we are constantly reviewing and expanding the scope of our activity in this area.
- The standards that we are FULLY equipped and are accredited to test are listed below. Testing to other standards may be available upon request.
- EN 60335-1 - Safety of household and similar electrical appliances Part 1: General requirements (1994) and Amendments A11 (1995), A1 (1996), A12 (1996), A13 (1998), A14 (1998), A15 (2000), A2 (2000), A16 (2001), A2:2001/C11 (2004)
- EN50165 - Electrical equipment of non-electric heating appliances for household and similar purposes - Safety requirements (1997) Corrigendum C1 (1998) and modification A1 (2001). Note that this has been superceded by EN 60335-2-102.
- EN 60335-2-30:2003 - Household and similar electrical appliances- Particular requirements for room heaters. Incorporating Amendment No.1 and Corrigendum No.1.
