GASTEC at CRE (GaC)

GaC has long been active with boilers and solar thermal systems through its quality mark, GASKEUR NZ, for boilers integrated with solar thermal collectors.

Using our indoor and outdoor facilities in our Apeldoorn laboratories, we now provide testing of solar thermal systems to 2 standards for solar domestic hot water systems:-

Firstly, according to EN 12975: for testing of the collector itself for:
  • Thermal performance
  • Quality (durability and reliability)
Secondly, according to EN 12976: for testing of the system (ie the collector and the hot water storage in combination) for:
  • Thermal performance
  • Quality (durability and reliability)
